Himalayan Salt Lamp for Reiki

The idea of a universal life force that is present in all forms of life is common to a large number of traditions throughout the world. For Melanesians, it is mana- from which we get our word manager. But this concept is found in ancient civilizations from the Indians of North America to the Siberian Yakutes, and from South America to Africa and Asia. The Asian version of this life force is chi, and in that tradition, this force circulates freely across everything and does not get attached. Later we will see the benefits of Himalayan Salt Lamp for Reiki.

What is Reiki?
Reiki (/ˈreɪkiː/?) is a form of alternative medicine developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. Since originating in Japan, Reiki has been adapted into varying cultural traditions across the world. Reiki practitioners use a technique they call palm healing or hands-on healing by which a "universal energy" is allegedly transferred through the palms of the practitioner to a patient in order to encourage healing.

Reiki is considered pseudoscience. It is based on gi ("chi"), which practitioners say is a universal life force, although there is no empirical evidence that such a life force exists. Clinical research has not shown Reiki to be effective as a medical treatment for any medical condition. The American Cancer Society, Cancer Research UK and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health state that Reiki should not be a replacement for conventional treatment.

Our vitality and balance depend on the free circulation of chi, as does our relationship to the material world, including our finances. If we are sick, or constantly in the red monetarily, if our love life turns out catastrophically, it is because our energy is blocked at one level or another. By unblocking such bolts, and thereby allowing chi to flow freely once again in all areas of our lives, we can move toward a richer, more harmonious existence on all levels.

A growing number of Reiki practitioners are turning to Himalayan Salt Lamp, having noticed that their effects combine harmoniously with the transmission of the Reiki and help to establish a climate of absolute confidence between the practitioner and the person being treated.
